It features over 30 unforgettable songs of the era, including: ' Bless 'em All The White Cliffs Of Dover A Nightingale Sang In Berkley Square 'The Lambeth Walk' Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree Land Of Hope And Glory etc This musical story recalls the feelings of the era by following the experiences of a typical family and their local community during war time. Scenes portray being inside an air raid shelter, queuing for rations, the Saturday night dance, an army camp concert and more, culminating in a VE Day street party.
