Text Box: When The Lights Go On Again
by Roy Sault

Our August 2010 show

This new British Musical written by Roy Sault, is set during the years of the Second World War. Described as the 'definitive World War II musical', 'When The Lights Go On Again' promises a trip down memory lane for many.

Full of pure nostalgia, this is a tale of the British spirit overcoming troubled times with humour and friendship. It features over 30 unforgettable songs of the era, including: '

Bless 'em All
The White Cliffs Of Dover
A Nightingale Sang In Berkley Square
'The Lambeth Walk'
Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree
Land Of Hope And Glory
etc
This musical story recalls the feelings of the era by following the experiences of a typical family and their local community during war time. Scenes portray being inside an air raid shelter, queuing for rations, the Saturday night dance, an army camp concert and more, culminating in a VE Day street party.

This show is normally a sell out so book early and:
